The Magentis really is the forgotten car, simply because it’s so rarely thought of when discussing mid-sized cars. The exterior received a facelift in 2009 to better match the new Kia vibe, but the engines remain a 175-hp 2.4-litre four-cylinder or an optional 194-hp 2.7-litre V6. Why the mechanically identical Hyundai Sonata gets much more competitive engines is foolish. Interior is well designed, but materials are a little cheap.

Pros

Perfectly fine looks

Cons

Underpowered on purpose
