The new LR4 is simply last year’s LR3 with new engines and some visual tweaks. Power now comes from a 375-hp 5.0-litre V8 shared with the Range Rovers. Acceleration is greatly improved, as is towing capacity. The exterior gets a freshened look courtesy of some new headlights, a reprofiled front bumper, some new wheels and paint colours. The interior gets a design and materials worthy of a Range Rover, rather than a little sibling. Seven seats are standard.
