The seven-seat Commander is Jeep’s largest vehicle, but it shares most of its components with the Grand Cherokee. That means the same 210-hp 3.7-litre V6 or 357-hp 5.7-litre HEMI V8 serve to push the giant around. Off-road ability is quite good given its size, and highway ride is quite civilized. Interior looks great with twin moonroofs. Third row too cramped for real people, and removes all cargo room when in use.
