The Liberty helps round out Jeep’s entry-level segment, but this one you’d actually expect to be tackling the Rubicon Trail. Powered by a 210-hp version of the 3.7-litre V6 with a standard four-speed automatic transmission and part- or full-time four-wheel drive, the Liberty is perfectly suited to off-road adventures. The cabin is roomy, but front passengers will find their feet cramped thanks to the transmission tunnel. Fuel economy is disastrous.
