The supercharged heart of the rapid XK-R gets enlarged for 2010, moving to 5.0-litres and not pumping out 510-hp. That moves the R from sports car to near super car. However, with adaptive suspension, passengers won’t lose their fillings thanks to tight suspension. Exterior gets the same aggressive wheels as the XF-R, plus more mesh and polished aluminum. Interior gets the JaguarDrive Select knob has replaced the old J-gate shifter. Hatchback design provides exceptional cargo room in this class.

Pros

Worth the ‘R’ badge

Cons

Still a little fishy from the front
