The hot-rod XF-R is the new version of Jaguar’s mid-sizer, introduced to take on the familiar BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Powered by a 510-hp supercharged 5.0-litre V8 with a six-speed automatic transmission, the XF-R has what it takes to compete with the best of the world. Bigger wheels, stickier tires and adjustable suspension round out mechanical changes, while exterior styling gets suitably bulked up.
