Jaguar’s gorgeous mid-sizer is back with some changes for 2010. The biggest news is the addition of a new engine:  a new 385-hp 5.0-litre V8 now powers the top-end Premium Luxury model, while the entry-level Luxury continues with the 300-hp 4.2-litre V8. New wheel designs, colour choices and more highlight the exterior changes. Inside, the JaguarDrive Selector is the immediate connection between driver and car, rising from the console when the engine is started. Beautifully crafted, but perhaps a bit fragile.

Pros

New V8, breathtaking design

Cons

Touch-open glovebox prone to failure
