Fun for two, nimble city car

Smart’s Fortwo city car is famously designed to work well in urban environments. Its tiny wheelbase makes U-turns easy, while the narrow width means you can fit through the smallest gaps in traffic. Power comes from a 1.0-litre 70-hp three-cylinder engine with an automated five-speed manual transmission. The tiny powerplant sits under the trunk over the rear wheels, leaving the large, airy cabin free of any intrusions. Brabus model features visual upgrades, larger wheels, and interior tweaks. While the Smart is efficient, it’s not the fuel miser the original used to be.
