While the CR-V received a full redesign three years ago, the Element that shares its platform carries through virtually unchanged. Power comes from a 161-hp 2.4-litre engine with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional on mid-line versions, but all others send power to the front. The SC model gets unique wheels, body kit, and interior pieces, but even regular model features a big backseat and large cargo area.
