The Explorer Sport Track has always filled the gap between the Ranger extended cab and an entry-level F-150, and provides a more refined experience than could be possible in a four-door pickup. Based on the Explorer’s mechanicals, the Sport Trac is exclusively four-wheel drive, and uses the 210-hp 4.0-litre V6 or the optional 292-hp 4.6-litre V8. While the rear of the cabin doesn’t fold in like the Chevrolet Avalanche, the bed is large enough to haul most bulky stuff. Adrenalin package adds bigger wheels, a body kit and all-wheel drive.

Pros

Adrenalin looks aggressive

Cons

No faster than regular Sport Trac
