The Ford Escape has remained one of Canada’s most popular compact SUVs after nearly a decade on the market. Its smart styling, fuel-efficient engines and reasonable pricing just keep its stock rising. The base 2.5-litre four-cylinder produces 170-hp while the optional 3.0-litre V6 pushes out 240-hp. The entry-level model comes with a five-speed manual transmission, while the rest use a six-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is available with either engine.  Hybrid model is one of the most efficient versions on the market.
