Chevrolet gets a completely redesigned entry-level Equinox for 2010. While it’s still a five-passenger CUV with either front- or all-wheel drive, the Equinox now features its first-ever four-cylinder engine. The182-hp 2.4-litre helps the Equinox set class-leading fuel economy, better than the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Rogue. The new 264-hp 3.0-litre direct-injection V6 provides far more power than the old 3.5-litre, and is cleaner too. Interior is tasteful and modern, while the cargo area is competitive too. A homerun for Chevy.
