Dodge’s version of the Chrysler 300 doesn’t pack the same visual punch, but doesn’t differ much mechanically. Base models get a 178-hp 2.7-litre V6 with a 250-hp 3.5-litre V6 is optional. The sporty RT models use a 368-hp 5.7-litre HEMI V8, with a five-speed automatic. All Chargers are rear-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive is optional on SXT and RT. The performance-oriented SRT8 uses a 425-hp 6.2-litre version of the HEMI V8 along with bigger wheels, stickier tires and tighter suspension.

Pros

RT AWD an interesting combination

Cons

Base engine underpowered and unrefined
