The attractive Volkswagen Eos coupe cabriolet goes forward into 2010 with few changes beyond a special edition model with leather seats and 18-inch wheels. Power comes from the familiar 200-hp 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and either six-speed manual or six-speed DSG transmission. The folding-metal hardtop is a work of art, and has a full-length retractable glass moonroof embedded inside to make even cold days bright. Like the GTI, handles very well for its size. Trunk is generous too, when top is up.

Pros

Good to look at, good to drive

Cons
