The excellent V50 wagon goes into 2010 with no changes expected. Power comes from a 168-hp 2.4-litre five-cylinder, or an optional 227-hp 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder. The S40 is normally front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is optional on the turbo engine. Transmissions are five- and six-speed manuals, or five-speed automatics. As on all Volvos, safety is the first priority, and the C30 comes loaded to the gills with all the latest technology. Cargo area holds over 2,000 L of bags, boxes and pets.
