BMW’s latest luxury machine enters its sophomore year with some improvements to an already impressive package. Available in two lengths, the 7 Series will bolster its engine line up by adding new 760i and 760Li models with a 536-hp twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 and eight-speed automatic. The 400-hp 750i and 750Li remains with its six-speed automatic, although now is available in either rear-wheel drive or with xDrive all-wheel drive. Inside, passengers are treated to the best leathers, woods and metals available, and the revised iDrive system is excellent too.

Pros

Hot-rod performance, luxurious touches

Cons

Too tech focused, less driver focused
