Porsche is cranking up the performance for the new-for-2010 Turbo model, which now features a massive 500-hp from its twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat six-cylinder, which is fed to all four wheels through the company’s seven-speed PDK gearbox. The Sport Chrono pack adds things like active engine mounts, and an overboost function to provide extra power for limited bursts. And the Turbo also gets dynamic cornering lights for the first time too. Cabriolet version might be the world’s fastest hairdryer.

Pros

Attainable performance for anyone

Cons

Anyone with $165,000
