The Lancer Evolution is the legendary rally-bred machine that Canadians could only envy from afar until last year. For 2010, the Evo retains its 291-hp 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and standard all-wheel drive. The GSR model gets a five-speed manual transmission, while the MR exclusively uses the company’s six-speed twin-clutch automated gearbox. Visually, the Evo gets flared fenders, hood vents, a blacked-out grille, dual exhaust, a big wing, and different wheels. Interior features excellent seats, but cheap plastic dominates the cabin.
