This generation of B-Series has been on the market in one form or another since the early ‘90s, which makes it one of the oldest vehicle designs available. However, its combination of simple construction, efficient engines and compact dimensions mean it remains a best-seller year after year. Basic models get a 143-hp 2.3-litre four-cylinder, while a 207-hp 4.0-litre V6 is optional. Sold in regular or extended cab with a short or long box and either rear- or four-wheel drive, the B-Series is the very definition of frills-free motoring.
