The Mitsubishi Lancer doesn’t get many changes for 2010. Power comes from a 152-hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder, while GTS models use a 168-hp 2.4-litre version. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on both, but a paddle-shift controlled CVT is available. The Lancer generally handles well, but is a little floaty. Interior uses cheap plastic for much of the cabin, but can be had with leather seats and a 650-watt Rockford Fosgate sound system.

Pros

Good looks, decent fuel economy

Cons

Cheap materials
