The best AMG car in a generation, the C63 offers huge power from its 451-hp 6.2-litre V8 and seven-speed automatic transmission, and agility thanks to its tweaked suspension, bigger brakes and gumball tires. At full throttle, the C63 sounds like a ‘70s big-block muscle car, but it actually turns corners well too. Inside, the cabin is all business, with super-supportive seats, drilled pedals and other subtle AMG touches.

Pros

The near equal to the new M3

Cons

Euro wagon version would be fantastic
